Big Brains Computer Institute ("Big Brains", "we", "us") runs the website bigbrainsinstitution.com and a computer training institute at 1st Floor, Ohri Building, Near Union Bank, Opposite Bus Stand, Sondhi Chowk, Phagwara, Punjab 144401. This page explains what information we collect, why we collect it and the choices you have. By using our website or contacting us, you agree to this policy.

1. Information we collect

• Enquiry details: your name, mobile number, email address, the course you are interested in and any message you send through our website forms, WhatsApp, phone or email.
• Admission details: when you join a course, we keep your name, contact details, course, batch, fee records and the documents needed for your certificate.
• Certificate records: student name, course, registration number and issue date, so that certificates can be verified online.
• Photos and videos: classroom, event and certificate-day photos or student review videos, only with the student's permission.
• Website usage data: basic technical information such as browser type, device and pages visited, collected automatically by our hosting and by the tools listed in section 5.

2. How we use your information

• To reply to your enquiry and call or message you about courses, fees, batches and free demo classes.
• To manage your admission, classes, attendance and fee records.
• To issue your certificate and allow it to be verified on our certificate verification page.
• To share course updates, new batches or offers by call, SMS or WhatsApp. You can ask us to stop at any time.
• To keep our website secure and improve it.

3. We do not sell your data

We never sell, rent or trade your personal information. We share it only when needed to run our services (for example, with our website hosting provider), when you ask us to (for example, a placement reference for a company you have applied to), or when the law requires it.

4. How long we keep your data

Enquiry details are kept for up to 2 years after your last contact with us. Student and certificate records are kept for as long as needed to verify certificates for employers and colleges. You can ask us to delete your data earlier, as explained in section 7.

5. Cookies and third-party tools

Our website uses some services from other companies, which may set their own cookies or collect basic usage data under their own privacy policies:

• Google — Google Maps (location map), YouTube (student review videos) and reCAPTCHA (spam protection on forms).
• WhatsApp (Meta) — when you tap a WhatsApp button, your message is sent through WhatsApp.
• Review and Instagram widgets — to show our Google reviews and Instagram posts on the website.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The website will still work, but some embedded maps or videos may not load.

6. How we protect your data

Our website uses HTTPS (secure connection). Access to student and enquiry records is limited to our staff who need it for admissions and certificates. No website is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to keep your information safe.

7. Your rights

You can ask us to:

• tell you what personal information we hold about you;
• correct wrong or outdated information;
• delete your enquiry details, or remove your photo or video from our website and social media;
• stop sending you calls or messages about courses and offers.

Send your request to bigbrainscomputerinstitute@gmail.com or call +91 84272-34590. We will reply within 7 working days. Certificate records needed for verification may be kept, but we will tell you if that applies.

8. Children's information

Some of our students are under 18. For these students, we collect admission details with the knowledge of a parent or guardian, and we publish their photos or videos only with permission.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed.
